You cannot just purchase a standard knitting machine and start making Thorlos socks! All of their machines are customised to improve the way the machine knits the "activity specific" fabric. These improvements make Thorlo walking socks last longer, make the terry loops higher and more resilient, reduce shearing and impact forces, and improve the stretch and fit of the product.
