Silva is the leading manufacturer of compasses worldwide, starting in 1933 with the invention of the first liquid filled compass. The Silva brand has become synonymous with accurate, durable and high quality compasses and outdooor equipment, and is used extensibly by various armies around the world. Silva has an annual turnover of 34 million Euros, with approx 250 employees in total.
