Latitude fabric with Cordura Stretch

Latitude Stretch is Berghaus' own lightweight stretch nylon trouser fabric. With excellent durability to the face fabric, great wicking performance, good stretch and recovery and a UPF of 50, Latitude Stretch is ideal for easy care travel and walking wear.

Latitude with DriRelease

Dri Release combines the look and feel of cotton, in a quick drying fabric, offering exceptional comfort. The addition of a FreshGuard treatment, embedded in DriRelease fibres, prevent odour bodies from attaching themselves to the fabric, making DriRelease ideal for use in travel garments worn next to the skin.

Latitude with HealthGuard System III

Latitude fabric is Berghaus' own lightweight nylon fabric. The fabric has a dry time of just 30 minutes. It has excellent durability, which is provided by the rip-stop construction. It is lightweight and packs down to a small size. It has a UPF of 39. These feature make Latitude fabric ideal for travel wear.

HealthGuard System III uses a unique textile impregnating treatment to offer protection against the most common tropical disease - Malaria. HealthGuard System III repels against mosquitos, sand flies, bed bugs, midgies and fleas. It provides up to 90% reduction in actual bites and has the added benefit of being anti-bacterial, inhibiting odour.

Lightweight Polyester with Teflon

Lightweight polyester with random ripstop design and a Teflon DWR finish that is windproof, downproof, lightweight and durable.

Load Equalizing Balance Beam - The North Face

The Load Equalizing Balance Beam pivots the load of your backpack in the same direction that you move. Working with the Flex Arms, the Load Equalizing Balance Beam lets your backpack's center of gravity move with yours so that it doesn't shift from side to side like a fixed suspension backpack does.

LoweLoft - Lowe Alpine

Lowe Alpine's proprietary synthetic insulation uses fine polyester filaments to give high-loft performance that is very compressible, yet continues to provide insulation even when wet making it an exceptional material for use in a variety of Lowe Alpine's outdoor gear.

Lumbar Strut - The North Face

Conventional backpack design typically features a static hip belt anchored to the pack body. These hip belts often fail to fall back into the correct spot as you move, resulting in uncomfortable chafing to the hipbones and midsection. More sophisticated backpack designs such as the 'Pivotal Suspension System' and the dynamic nature of the Lumbar Strut also by The North Face it means that they mimic your body's adjustments, allowing the suspension to lengthen and serve as a stabilizing, shock-absorbing system.

Lumidex - Berghaus

A 450D Nylon incorporating a reflective weave - high strength and abrasion resistance used solely in the Berghaus Endurance range of rucsacks and backpacks.
